This guide is designed for Professor Roz Fisher's Introduction to Women's Studies (SYD 3810) class. This interdisciplinarycourse focuses on on women as members of an oppressed group, but also how women have always been active agents in changing the world in which they live. Emphasis is placed on examining how various factors; including race, class, gender, and sexuality, contribute to women’s inequality and how these factors can be challenged through feminist critical practices.
