Studio: Studio Introduction

The UWF Libraries' Audio, Video, Photography studio is located on the 1st floor of the John C. Pace library on UWF's main campus.

Audio/Video/Photography Studio

The John C. Pace library on UWF’s main campus offers complete video/audio and photography production areas for students, faculty and staff. The 1st floor audio/video/photography studio is an ideal place to complete course projects and develop multimedia instructional materials. The 5th floor Skylab provides access to media equipment, computers, Adobe Creative Suite software, and consultation services for the creation of a variety of media.

 

Hours of availability - Summer 2021   :

Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.

Saturday: Closed

Sunday: 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Reservations:

Two-hour sessions can be reserved.

Walk-in’s are also available for 2 hours if the room is available.

Camera for field use:

One Canon XF 400 camera identical to the cameras in the studio and one Manfrotto tripod is available for checkout at the circulation desk. This gear will allow users to go into the field with identical equipment and film. This will help to eliminate issues that crop up in the editing phase when different cameras are used in a project.
