Deciding where to publish your research can seem like a daunting task. This guide to help you to navigate the process of choosing a journal in which to publish.

The steps involved in selecting a journal for your manuscript generally fall under 4 categories:

  1. Identify: Find candidate journals
  2. Fit: Determine if your manuscript fits the journal's content
  3. Evaluate: Assess the quality of the journals
  4. Access: Consider access options for your work
