Skylab MakerSpace

General Information about using the UWF Libraries Skylab MakerSpace

Cricut

The Cricut is capable of cutting or drawing designs created with graphic design software. Vinyl stickers, iron-on t-shirts, signs, labels and more can be created with this machine. MakerSpace users will need to provide their own materials. Cricut materials can be purchased from Amazon, Michaels, Hobby Lobby and other retailers who sell craft supplies. The Library does not sell or provide materials for use with the Cricut. Basic training on how to operate the Cricut is available in Skylab and many tutorials are available online. The Cricut uses blades to cut materials. Please do not put your hands or other objects in the cutting area.
