Training/Workshops

3D Modeling:

SolidWorks for beginners’ workshops can be arranged for groups of four or more students. Additionally, quality SolidWorks training is incorporated into the software.

Operating 3D Printers:

Learn how to properly operate 3d printers, gain hands-on experience and become a member of the Skylab Makerspace with 3D printing privileges. Personal hands-on training is available by appointment Monday - Friday mornings and afternoons. Group training workshops are also available.

JellyBOX - Build a 3D Printer Workshops:

Learn how to build a 3D printer by attending one of our JellyBOX workshops. This printer can be assembled by a team of 3 to 6 people in a day or two, depending on your mechanical skills. This workshop is ideal for those who want to learn how 3D printers work. Would you like to arrange a JellyBOX workshop for a small group?

Personal 3D Printer Repair and Diagnostics:

Bring your own printer events will be held during the second week of each semester. These workshops will empower students with the skills necessary to repair/troubleshoot/maintain/build their own personal desktop 3D printers.
