Skylab MakerSpace

General Information about using the UWF Libraries Skylab MakerSpace

3D Printing for UWF Coursework, Research and Capstone Projects:

Currently, 3D printing for coursework, research and capstone projects is free of charge - (up to 1kg of filament). For capstone projects students must complete the 3D printing information form and submit the files to be printed to the Skylab manager for approval. Coursework requires instructor approval. If just a few 3D prints are needed for a faculty research project, the parts can be printed by Skylab Staff; however, for larger scale research projects involving larger numbers of items, someone will need to be delegated to complete the 3D prints e.g. - faculty, graduate assistants and or students. The Skylab/Makerspace does not offer 3D design/drafting services. Researchers who need to have something designed will need to find someone to do the drafting work if they are not familiar with 3D modeling.

SkyLab - Capstone 3D Printing Project Information Form
