This synthesis matrix in Excel can help you get a jumpstart on finding ways in which the literature differs and is the same.

#1: It is often fantastic news if you can't find an article that proves your point exactly. You've identified a gap in the research!

#2: A review of the literature is often the section that takes the longest to research and write (at least for me)
