Library Resources (Canvas)

This guide provides information about resources for library research.

Get Help

Use the link about to chat LIVE with one of our librarians...or, if it is "after hours" the link will automatically help you generate an email so someone can respond to your question when we are open again!

Databases

Databases identify journal articles, books, conference proceedings, reports, and other materials. There are multiple ways to find databases:

Subject Research Guides

Not sure how or where to start your research? Check out the research guide for your subject or academic discipline - it will help you identify relevant databases, books, and other resources.

Online Tutorials

For help with library resources and services and different aspects of the research and writing process, check out the UWF Libraries online tutorials. Although you will find individual tutorials embedded within this guide, this link will take you to the main tutorials page.

Remote Access

Many of our resources may be accessed only by current UWF students, faculty, and staff. For Remote Access (off-campus), we must authenticate you as a valid UWF user before connecting you to these resources. Click the Access tab on the library home page to log in using your Argonet credentials. When the Access tab is GREEN, you have full access. If the tab is RED, you are not logged in to the library's proxy server.
