What's in this guide?

A huge part of research is know what you need to find, where to find it, and then how to find it.  Use this guide to assist you through the research process in mathematics & statistics.

Snapshot of what you'll find:

  • Introduction - Information on Evaluating Sources and Conducting Literature Reviews
  • Articles- Top databases for Math/Stats and additional tools for MathSci Net
  • Books- How to find; use this books to look up theories and applications
  • Citation Management- How to cite and RefWorks (your new best friend)
  • After Graduation- Because we all want a job....right?

Don't forget! Finding the right information can be hard. You may have to check multiple places, like MathSci Net and Web of Science, and run multiple searches using different keywords.  Your librarians are here to help. E-mail, chat, call, or visit us in the library.
