You may be asked to cite in APA, MLA, Chicago, Turabian, or maybe even another type of style for your paper. It's critical that you say where your information is coming from.  Even if it's an idea that you got from a YouTube video or a single statistic that you read in an article.  If it wasn't your idea, you need to cite it. If you aren't sure if you should cite something, ask your instructor or a librarian.
