This site is based on E. D. Hirsch, Jr.'s philosophy of a core knowledge curriculum including Language Arts, American and World History, Geography, Visual Arts, Music, Math, and Science (preschool through Grade 8). Free lesson plans and articles are available, in addition to products for sale. Also, the Teacher section offers a forum and blog.

Kyle Yamnitz, students, and faculty at The University of Missouri developed lessons in the following subject areas: Math, Science, Music, Language Arts, Computers & Internet, Social Studies, Art, P.E., Health, Multi-Disciplinary, and other lessons.
This site includes unique, interdisciplinary classroom activities at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. In an effort to encourage critical thinking and social responsibility, the activities cover timely issues, such as, cyberbullying, homophobia, and just how broken is the senate? Users can find lesson plans for fine arts, health education, language arts, physical education, science, and more. Each lesson plan has a summary, curriculum tie, learning outcomes, instructional procedures, and additional resources with links.
